Lindores Abbey’s widely recognised links to the earliest written reference to Scotch Whisky, mean that people have been travelling to this quiet corner of Fife for centuries. After a 500-year break, these whisky pilgrims will finally be able to see Single Malt distillation happening once again on this historic site.

Lindores Abbey Distillery Visitor Centre Information

Tours cost £12.50 per person and include a tasting of Lindores Abbey Distillery Aqua Vitae. £2.50 of this is then redeemable against a purchase of a bottle of Aqua Vitae. Please call 01337 842547 to book. Booking is strongly recommended. We even provide little takeaways for the drivers so no need to drink and drive.
Private group tours are by arrangement and can operate throughout the day at times to suit the group.
French and German Tours by arrangement.
Summer Tour Times: From 1st April until 30th September, tours will be available at 10:30am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
Winter Tour Times: From 1st October until 31st March, tours run at 11.30am and 2.00pm.
