Deeside Distillery History

2012	Deeside Brewery opened
2017	Deeside Brewery and Distillery Ltd added distilling equipment in an extension. In late 2017 the first experimental batches were laid down in octaves to help evaluate how the distilled spirit would age.

Deeside Distillery Comments

The company plans to open a new Burn o' Bennie Distillery in late 2020, based on a two acre site in the heart of Banchory and capable of producing 750,000LPA on a 2.2 acre plot in Banchory, with a visitor centre, restaurant and taproom. The company objective is small batch production of limited run premium cask whisky.
