2018	Halewood, owners of John Crabbie & Co, began planning applications for what is described as a micro-distillery, the Chain Pier Distillery in Granton Edinburgh in 2017 and the distillery began production in December 2018.>

Chain Pier Distillery Comments

The Chain Pier Distillery provided the company with the opportunity to develop a wide range of new spirits, as it waited for its new distillery in the Bonnington area of Edinburgh to be completed. It allowed the development of Single Malt, Grain Whisky and Gin recipes prior to moving into the new commercial production premises - both sites are now operational.
