We do things a little differently at The Anderson.
Your hosts, Jim & Anne Anderson, have brought their own unique touch from America to the Highlands, where their restaurant with rooms enjoys a rural setting just minutes away from Inverness airport.
Anne trained as a chef in New Orleans at the height of its culinary crown. Expect to find a menu of comfort food from the four corners of the earth. Jim wrote about food & drinks in Philadelphia and New York, and there’s nothing he won’t do to bring you intruiging whiskies, wines, spirits and beer.

Together Jim & Anne have created an oasis of hospitality in the midst of the northern leg of the Whisky Trail.
A country village nearby Inverness. A short drive from Glen Ord, Dalmore, Invergordon, Teaninich, Glenmorangie and Clynelish, but easily accessable to the holy grails of Speyside. |
Truly the best of many possible worlds. But don't take our word for it:
"Very individual hotel notable especially for an extraordinary whisky selection."
Scotland the Best
"Gives Scottish ingredients an international flavour."

CAMRA Good Beer Guide

Good Beer Guide Belgium
"Lively restaurant-with-rooms."
