1976 Tamdhu launched as a Single Malt
2010 Closed by previous owner the Edrington Group
2011 Ian Macleod Distillers Limited purchase Tamdhu Distillery
2013 First release by new owners is Tamdhu 10 year old

Tamdhu Distillery Comments
Tamdhu means "little dark hill" in gaelic
The old railway station at Knockando became the visitor centre at Tamdhu Distillery.

Only distillery in Speyside to malt all its own barley on the premises
